GrieeX Terms of Service

What GrieeX provides

GrieeX helps you organise your movie and TV collection and track information about titles. It does not supply, stream or grant access to films, TV episodes or streaming subscriptions. Metadata, artwork and external trailers do not confer rights to the underlying content.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. Where local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, obtain that permission before using the app or making a purchase.

Licence and lawful use

You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the application on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and applicable Google Play rules. The software is licensed, not sold. You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense it, bypass purchase or access controls, interfere with its operation or misuse connected services.

These restrictions do not override rights granted by applicable law, including permitted interoperability or reverse engineering, or the licences of included open-source components. You must respect intellectual property, privacy and other rights when importing, using or sharing material.

Your collection and backups

Your original notes, lists, ratings and other collection content remain yours. These terms do not transfer ownership of that content to the developer. Third-party metadata, artwork and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Keep independent backups before importing, restoring, replacing data, changing devices or uninstalling. A backup or restore can overwrite existing records. Where your installed version supports Dropbox or another external transfer service, its availability and use are also subject to that provider’s rules. No guarantee is made that lost or damaged data can be recovered.

Free and Pro editions

GrieeX and GrieeX Pro are separate Android editions. The applicable store listing and installed version describe their features, price and any advertising. These terms do not promise identical features across editions or versions.

A purchase of GrieeX Pro through Google Play covers that app under the purchase description and store rules. It is not a subscription. The price, currency and taxes shown by Google Play at checkout apply. Reinstallation and purchase availability depend on the purchasing Google account and applicable store rules.

A GrieeX Pro purchase does not automatically unlock the separate current griee app or another platform. A one-time purchase does not promise perpetual compatibility with future devices or operating systems, or uninterrupted third-party services. This does not reduce rights to features, support, updates or remedies arising from the purchase description or mandatory law.

Payments, refunds and consumer rights

Google Play processes store purchases. Its terms and procedures also apply. For purchase problems or refunds, use Google Play’s support process or contact info@griee.com. Refund eligibility depends on applicable law and the store rules.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, conformity or other consumer rights. These terms do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase or require you to waive protections or access to courts available under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

External services and privacy

Metadata, artwork, trailers, backup and other integrations may depend on third-party services. Their own terms, privacy policies, account requirements and limits apply. Information may be incomplete or inaccurate, and providers may change or discontinue services. No endorsement by those providers is implied.

These terms are not a privacy policy and do not grant permission for tracking, advertising or data processing that requires separate consent. Availability and responsibility

These are legacy applications. Compatibility and feature availability depend on the installed version, device, Android version, store availability and external providers. No promise is made of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Any legally required updates, support and conformity obligations remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, the applications are provided as available without additional warranties, and the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. These limitations do not exclude fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability or remedy protected by mandatory law.

Changes, ending use and contact

Material changes to these terms will be identified by an updated date and, where required, notice or consent through an appropriate channel. You can stop using the apps at any time. Export or back up any records you want to keep before deleting local data. Uninstalling does not itself request a refund.

Permission to use the app may be terminated for a material breach, subject to legally required notice, opportunity to remedy and other protections. Termination does not transfer ownership of your content or remove accrued purchase or consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
